In this 3.5 hour class, we learn a brief history and roots of weaving around the world, the basic terminology in the weaving practices, how to warp a small handmade loom, and how to weave our own wall hanging. Katrina provides all materials needed: looms, yarns and fibers, foraged herbs and plant material and beads/crystals for the class to use, and each person leaves with a finished or almost finished piece, as well as the hand-made loom! Participants are also welcome to bring a few materials they might like to weave into their piece.  We enjoy this very creative meditation, with provided herbal infusion sips and healthy snacks!
