Join us for a special art opening and artist reception with renowned visionary artist, Ishka Lha, and enjoy an uplifting live music performance by her band, JAMeeSHKA.

Ishka’s drawings and paintings reveal a world of the eternal beauty that is all things. A river of elementals, cosmic beings, and magical beasts swirl together in one great flood of light and shadow, emanating the shapes and colors illuminated within the Great Beloved’s kaleidoscope.

JAMeeSHKA’s performances are a live music anomaly, weaving an eclectic blend of heart-stirring harmonies, outlandish vocal play, and creative instrumentation into awe-inspiring compositions and extensive improvisation. Co-creators James Caran and Ishka Lha produce site-specific art and music journeys, often causing audiences to erupt with fervid laughter, cry with introspective reverence, and dance in ecstatic wonderment.

Ishka Lha (pronounced ee-shka Lha) grew up on a ranch atop the rolling hills of northern California, where the quiet natural beauty of her childhood surroundings inspired endless imaginative play and creativity. She earned a professional B.A. for Architecture with an emphasis on natural building and eco-village design at California Polytechnic State University, and has been weaving her passion for art and architecture ever since.

For over 15 years, Ishka has been creating art, music, and ritual to help people fall deeper into their mystic heart, so that they can experience more magic, tranquility, and unity in their everyday lives. Her art explores and celebrates the natural radiance inherent in all dimensions of life through the use of neo-traditional iconography and mythology, and she is especially interested in what universal forces have most helpfully governed humankind's passage through time into greater avenues of mutual respect, understanding, and heartfelt livelihood. Her work is primarily featured in private collections, galleries, boutiques, and transformational art and music festivals throughout the U.S. and abroad.
