Let's create together: you, me, community, and the plants. In this medicine making class, we will learn about all things Fire Cider! Learn how to make this brew in real time, while building confidence. Gain understanding about the plants that are used + their medicinal properties, while also chatting about the history and recipe spin offs. At the end of the class, you will walk away with your own personal jar of medicine and have it ready to share for the gift giving season.
Dana Aronson is a trained clinical herbalist who takes joy in community based, hands-on learning. She focuses her studies on bio-regional plants from the Pacific Northwest and intertwines them into her practice and teachings. Dana’s interests include setting up mobile first aid clinics, working with folks around addiction, and harm reduction. She believes in offering accessible herbal medicine and digestible herb information so that people can feel empowered around their health.
