In Ayurveda the digestive fire is the cornerstone of health and when it burns bright the entire body shines in radiant health. When the digestive fire is balanced you experience vitality, energy, focus, and flexibility. Creating digestive health is the most important thing you can do for long term health.

This class will be based on the book Dr. Noah Volz wrote: "The Blissful Belly: A 16-day Program for Super-Charging your Digestion using the Art and Science of Ayurveda."

In this class you will learn how the three Doshas of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha negatively influence digestion. Then you will learn about Ayurvedic and Western formulations to balance the three primary types of digestive imbalance. We will try some of these formulas so that you can take charge of your health by balancing your digestion.

Dr. Noah Volz has been practicing Ayurveda since 2006 and is the owner of Rhythm of Healing and a chiropractor at the Wellspring Center. He has also taught for Banyan Botanicals and the California College of Ayurveda.
